Wattage comparison

As a comparison LED light bulbs can use a lot lower wattage than traditional bulbs. A 4w LED bulb provides as much light as a 40w traditional bulb. According to the Energy Saving Trust, homeowners can save around £35 a year on energy bills by swapping to LED lighting and this will also lower the carbon footprint.

Less energy wasted

Traditional bulbs waste a lot of their energy on heat. However, LED bulbs use most of their energy for lighting, its main purpose. This means less energy is wasted and LED lights are more efficient at providing light.

Last longer

LED bulbs last a lot longer than other light bulbs. A traditional bulb can last around two years, whereas LED bulbs have been known to last 10 years or more.
