There are so many amazing benefits to using CCT colour temperature adjustable lighting products. They completely transform a space, change the mood in a room immediately and have fantastic health benefits (read our blog for more details).

But are they difficult to set up and use? No, they’re not! They’re actually incredibly easy to set up.

Here is a step by step guide to setting up your own CCT LED tape. You can also view our step by step guide video below.

Step 1

Make sure you have all the necessary components. These are:

Your CCT LED tape

A CCT remote control

A receiver

A LED driver (for help calculating which driver you need, please read our blog)

Step 2

Plug your receiver into your driver using the male to female connectors

Step 4

Open the hatch at the end of your receiver. If you are installing lighting into one zone, please ensure that both the pins are covered by the jack on the master LED controller.

Step 5

Switch the CCT remote control on

Step 6

Press the learning key on the receiver

Step 7

Press and hold the zone that you wish to set up on your remote control until the LED tape flashes. Ones this happens the zone is now programmed.

Setting up a scene

Step 1

Turn the remote control on

Step 2

Set the colour temperature and brightness you wish

Step 3

Select the scene you wish to set this colour temperature to and press and hold the button until the light flashes

Step 4

Repeat this process across all the scenes. Once they are all programmed in the remote control will remember these and you can switch your lighting between the scenes as you please.
